Re-Elect Council Member Julia Miller The Champion for Sunnyvale Citizens! Dear Voters: My message is simple. I have a proven record as your Council Member for four years, with the expertise, time and energy necessary to build consensus and make informed decisions. I accomplished my campaign goals and more. The SunnyvaleBay Trail is open; council meetings start earlier; a new Senior Center and 50 meter swimming pool are being built; we have a new Noise Ordnance; and Sunnyvale now has an Air Monitoring Station. My roots are in Sunnyvale, since 1958. I went to schoolhere, worked here, raised my son Jason here, and am a homeowner. My service as your Council Member has given me theexperience required to make a difference and I am committed to working with you and being your voice on the Council. Thank you for sharing your concerns with me throughletters, e-mails, phone calls and in person. My efforts and decisions have been formed by input from you -- the citizens of Sunnyvale. It is my top priority to listen to you and help resolve your issues. As the most qualified candidate, I ask for your vote tocontinue to represent you. Together we can ensure Sunnyvale remains a great community to live, work and do business! Thank you, ISSUES KEY TO OUR QUALITY OF LIFE • Ensure quiet, safe neighborhoods; support a strong Public Safety Department; low cost city services; a state-of-the-art library; well-maintained parks; and improved senior services. • Protect our environment and open space. • Reduce traffic congestion. • Preserve and protect our single family neighborhoods and maintain zoning for mobile home parks. • Continue to oppose air cargo and general aviation at Moffett Federal Airfield.
