Top 10 Priorities As A Candidate For City Council

The priorities listed below are just some of the issues the current City Council has falied to act on, and/or neglected completely.
1. District Elections: The at-large system of electing our city official has failed us. We must return to district or ward system so we can hold our elceted officials accountable to the people who elected them.

2: Qualified and dedicated Staff

3. Voters' input on major issues

4. Campaign Financing

5. Long-term planning for growth and the budget

6. The Building Department, Public Works and Clerk's Office to be made public friendly

7. Affordable housing for employees with low to moderate incomes

8. Return the street sweepers to all residential areas as well as the business district

9. Council-member to act as a conduit for information to local citizens where the County, State or National Governments pass laws that will have a major impact on the City's budget

10. Retaliatory Ordinance
