.Activity with American Public Works Association Research Institute nation committee led to establishment of Federal Grant funding of improvements to reduce or eliminate storm water infiltration into municipal sewage collection systems, a major part of Clean Water Programs. Sewage infiltration projects include Berkeley, Oakland, Albany, Richmond, Vallejo, Corte Madera, Crescent City, Pacifica and Mare Island. Work with East Bay Conference on Sewer Practice led to standardization of low-pressure air testing for new sewers.work with North Bay Water Advisory Council furthered use of fish bioassays for effluent monitoring
