Affordable Housing and Growth Management

I am committed to providing housing that our working families can afford. We need to provide housing for our grown children, our teachers, our firefighters, our child care and other workers who can't afford to buy in Livermore. I will also continue to protect our agricultural heritage by supporting the creation of a permanent urban growth boundary.

I will continue to protect our agricultural heritage by supporting the creation of a permanent urban growth boundary and preservation of open space. With the South Livermore Plan we doubled the size of Sycamore Grove Park, and thousands of acres of vineyards will be permanently protected.

Cathie leads the effort to achieve similar greenbelt protection to the north, east, and west.
