Political Philosophy for Dennis P. Zine
Candidate for |
Dennis Zine took an oath to protect and serve everyone, the mark of a true public servant. He doesn't see Democratic pot holes or Republican street lights that need fixing, but neighborhoods where everyone works for improving the quality of life. Rather than take an autocratic and distant approach to representative government, where the elected official refers to the office as their's, Dennis Zine speaks of it as yours, belonging to the community. Local access and empowerment are key concerns. Having good political work habits, not just taking a stand just because, but be willing to keep the field office open to 8pm and return phone calls the next business day, speak volumns of the measure of the person. Taking strong stands on issues, but willing to listen to those with a different view is important also. This is a non partisan office and Dennis Zine has brought together a broad based coalition representing Democrat to Republican, Labor to Business. |
