Smart Voter Political Philosophy for David Saeta

Candidate for
Council Member; City of South Pasadena

This information is provided by the candidate

Four years ago, I ran for City Council as a third-generation South Pasadenan with a passion for my home town and an eagerness to 1) bolster our anti-710 position, 2) restore confidence in our city government, 3) complete our General Plane, 4) restore our city's financial healf and deteriorating infrastructure, and 5) enhance security and safety within our community.

During my tenure, we have been successful in meeting these goals by fostering a spirit of teamwork, recruiting and retaining great managers, and staying focused on our objectives. We have increased customer service, made economic development a priority, increased our regional presence, and brought new focus to completing critical capital and infrastructure projects.

As your representative to the Blue Line Construction Authority and as its Vice Chairman, I shall continue to oversee the delivery of this vital regional transportation project while protecting South Pasadena's best interest.

It has been an honor to serve you as a councilmember and mayor. I seek re-election to finalize the long-range plan to repair our streets and water system, complete the planned youth recreation park, and help guide the CRA's investment of $1.8 million to reinvigorate our redevelopment area while preserving our small town charm.
