Alex P. Aghajanian is a life long resident of the Pasadena/Altadena area. He is a graduate of Pasadena High School, attended Pasadena City College where he attained an Associate Arts degree and earned a Bachelor's Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Pomona. He went on to earn a Juris Doctorate degree at the University of La Verne where he was a member and national representative for the Corman Senate on behalf of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity being named its outstanding student for region 6, was a member of the Law Review Staff, and participated in the Moot Court Honors program.

While still in law school, Mr. Aghajanian became employed at the Law Offices of Brent Edward Vallens as a law clerk. After passing the Bar, he was promoted to associate attorney and barely five years later became a partner in the firm of Vallens & Aghajanian. Throughout his legal career he has maintained a general practice focusing on Business, Corporate, Real Estate, Construction, Tax and Securities litigation and Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. For ten years, Mr. Aghajanian has maintained his office in Pasadena. He is admitted to the California Bar, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, Federal District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California, U.S. Tax Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California and the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Aghajanian has appeared before the National Association of Securities Dealers and various entities regulating the sale of commodities and has litigated many matters in numerous jurisdictions outside the State of California. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Aghajanian is a partner in Cinema Pacific Communications Company which produces educational, corporate and feature length films and commercials.

From 1983 to 1988, Mr. Aghajanian was a guest lecturer at California State University Northridge. He taught classes in beginning Business Law and upper division Partnership and Corporate law.

Mr. Aghajanian is currently a member of the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education. For over 13 years, he has been an active member of the Tournament of Roses, has served on the Pasadena Unified School District's District Advisory Counsel and was a member of the East Altadena Little League Board of Directors and Foundation Committee while managing and coaching Little League baseball and AYSO soccer. He is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association, and was formerly a member of the Altadena Town Council, Los Angeles Bar Association, California Trial Lawyers Association, and the International Law Society. Mr. Aghajanian has previously served on the Board of Directors for the University of San Fernando Valley College of Law; Tarpon Management Company; Management Systems, Inc.; Ralex, Inc., Thinkatron Studios Ltd., and Mach III Entertainment, Inc. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pasadena having previously served as its Treasurer for two years, and Cinema Pacific Productions, LLC, serving as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Aghajanian and his wife, Paula, have been married for 19 years and they have three children. Mr. Aghajanian enjoys his family, photography, music, fishing, sports and classic films.
