A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Mariemont, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING STREET REPAIRS, INSTALLATION AND REPAIR OF CURBS, SIDEWALKS AND STORM SEWERS, UPGRADING OF STREET AND TRAFFIC LIGHTS, TREE MAINTENANCE, REDUCING EROSION, AND PURCHASING EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE, FIRE AND MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENTS at a rate not exceeding three (3) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirty cents ($0.30) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2001, first due in calendar year 2002.
