Cultural TourismBy Jim GarfieldCandidate for Member of the City Council; City of Santa Paula | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I am in favor of continuing efforts to attract tourists to our area.Cultural tourism is a fast growing industry and we in the Heritage Valley are well situated to take advantage of many tourists, not onlthose in the close proximity of Los Angeles, but those coming from father away. With the natural wonder of our area and the attractions we have, I believe that this tourism can and will be a big part of a recovering Santa Paula. As President of The Heritage VAlley Tourims Bureau, I have been active this year in getting a web page established, an 800 number and, soon, a headquarters building. Visit our new web site at http://WWW.HeritageValley.net for a look and what we have put together so far. I hope you like it. It will tell you things about the valley that you may not curretnly be aware of. |
