Candidate for
Mayor; City of Newman

I moved to Newman in 1990 from the Bay Area, purchased my home and have been a resident for 10 years. I was born in Oakland, California and resided most of my life in Castro Valley. Tired of the big city life and over population, I sought out and found Newman California. I have been employed by the Alameda County Sheriffs Department for 17 years. I commute to my job daily and have for 10 years. Prior to being employed by the Sheriffs Department I have worked in many business related occupations; accounting, personnel and payroll, service writer, warranty writer,income tax preparer.

I am engaged to be married to one of our local Policeman, Alan Evans. The wedding has been planned for sometime but due to present Mayoral race, work commute, caring for my 75 year old mother (who loses her cordless telephone constantly and thinks, because she still has checks there must be money in the bank) the wedding has been posponed several times. I have no children to date but have always wanted one of each. Instead I raised 2 Schipperke's, one German Shepard, one Pursian cat and one Policeman.
