Taxes

By Bob Vondruska

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 70

This information is provided by the candidate
Bob will work to repeal the state income tax and will always vote against any tax increase for any reason.
The Libertarian Party believes that a person should not be taxed on their income. Thomas Jefferson said that a wise and frugal government "shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread that it has earned" that this is the sum of good government. The Libertarian Party believes in the same principles as our Founding Fathers. We believe that an income tax is unconstitutional and only punishes people for trying to better their lives. We believe that with a limited government, we could pay all of the government's bills through other taxes that do not discourage productivity. I will work to repeal the state income tax. I realize that I will have alot of opposition to this plan but I am not afraid to "step up to the plate". The two party's will try to silence me because to repeal the state income tax would be devastating to their tax and spend ways and would put the two party's in power out of business. The Republicans and Democrats think that they know how to spend your money better than you do. Californians deserve to be free to spend their hard-earned money as they see fit. The Libertarian Party is working in a principled and consistent way to give you back your freedom.
