Educational Reform
Throughout America, education fails a basic test: it does not develop the creative intelligence of the student. At the core of every educational approach should be a technique or teaching method that develops the full potential of students, so that they are prepared to enter adult life as independent, creative, informed and pro-social citizens, with thorough comprehension of civic issues and willing to ask what more they can do for their nation.
The Environment
Miller's excellent environmental record could be improved in three crucial areas: by increased attention to the environmental destruction wrought by war, by not overlooking the disparate impact of pollution on those with little or no voice in American politics, and by raising awareness of the threat to the ecology posed by genetic engineering. Vote for Martin Sproul to highlight these needed shifts in environmental focus.
Genetically Engineered Foods and Human Germline Engineering
You will not hear about these issues from candidates fearful of angering special interests, but it is crucial for you to know more about them. Please read on.
