I guess one could say I'm your typical American in the genetic sense. My father was an immigrant from Iraq and my mother is a mixture of many nationalities. I always considered myself lucky. At the age of 3, we traveled to the Middle East for a 6 month visit and ended up staying 2 years. My sister was born during this extended vacation.

We returned to the United States when I was 5. I graduated the public school system in 1971. We primarily lived in up state New York where I had my fondest adolescent memories.

In 1972 I moved to Chicago where I eventually attended and completed my 4 year sheet metal apprenticeship program. I started my own Testing and Balancing Company in 1978. These were hard economic times, but I was able to make the best out of them by bidding projects through American companies doing work in Saudi Arabia.

In 1983 I moved to Saudi Arabia and sold my business in Chicago. I had the opportunity to work on numerous types of projects for many international companies and different government agencies. The company grew nicely, and afforded me the chance to travel worldwide. In 1988 I married my Swedish wife Hannah, sold my Saudi company and moved to Sweden ( with all my body parts intact) for the birth of my first son Sebastian.

1989 brought us here to Southern California. My second son Maxx was born at Grossmont Hospital in 1990. This is where we call home and plan on raising the kids and retiring. In 1993 we purchased a Shipping and Mailing Center and added a gift shop to it. We are currently home schooling our boys and finding it to be one of the best choices we ever made.

We plan on instilling in our children the greatness of the American Dream. To be self-reliant, responsible, freedom loving individuals, who will help others and stand up for what they believe is right.
