Helped broker balanced budget, last two years of first term. City had been using reserve funds.
Worked to achieve new sign ordinance for businesses that was acceptable to business, city staff, citizenry.
Formulated Handicapped Parking ordinance protecting rights of those qualifying. No cost to city involved; over $100,000 annually in from citations.
Deputy Mayor, City of El Cajon, 1997 and 1999.
Helped city employees gain salary increases for the first time in 5 years.
