Campaign Reform

By Tom Harman

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 67

This information is provided by the candidate
Special interests and political bosses have too much influence on the legislative process.
  • Limit contributions by corporations, unions, lobbyists and political action committees (currently California has no limits).

  • Create campaign spending limits that all candidates must follow.

  • Prohibit candidates from making false accusations about their opponents. (Politicians at the State level wrote slander and false advertising laws so they would not apply to them!)
