This information is provided by the candidate
In California, we must stay tough on criminals, gang members, and drug dealers. We must support our police and make sure that they have the funding and training to deal with criminals.
  • Require violent felons to serve their entire sentences.

  • Create a crime reporting network with other states so California law enforcement agencies have instant access to complete criminal records.

  • Create sentencing enhancements for criminals who prey on children and senior citizens -- those most vulnerable to violent crime.

  • Require immediate school suspension for juveniles who commit or threaten violence against other students or teachers.

  • Require parents to pay for graffiti and vandalism caused by their children.

  • Support current bans on assualt rifles and enforce the gun control laws currently in place.

  • Identify juveniles before they begin to commit violent crimes. Statistics show an alarming increase in serious crimes by young adults.
