General City ManagementBy Sal TorresCandidate for Council Member; City of Daly City | |

Keeping municipal government strong.I am dedicated to keeping a strong infrastructure for our city to build upon. The delivery of essential services will always be a priority for me because the health, welfare and safety of our citizens depend on them. We have done a good job so far - water and garbage rates are more than competitive with other cities within the Bay Area, our fire and paramedic services are highly rated and the FBI recently reported that Daly City's crime rate was the fourth lowest in the nation for cities over 100,000. My goal is to move it from fourth to first. Daly City residents deserve better than "Good enough." |
