- Extensive line management and multimillion dollar budget responsibility plus corporate staff experience with public and private companies.
- Broad range of management consultation project experience.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning and financial planning/budgeting systems.
- Concerned resident participant in Town Council and Town budget/financial planing meetings for over five years.
- Current member of Atherton Audit Committee with involvement in Town financial audit as well as operating and capital budgeting process.
- Current residential real estate knowledge and involvement.

- Hands-on executive with strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose situation, then develop and lead implementation of plan.
3. What objectives do you have which will benefit Atherton residents?
- Focus Town Council on strategy and policy similar to Corporate Board of Directors. Utilize and work with Town Commission and Committees like corporate staff departments. Assure implementation by Town Manager and Department Managers as operating management.
- Attract, build, and motivate a permanent Town operating management team.
- Initiate quarterly operating budget review with current year forecast.
- Emphasize project management approach for capital budgets with problem/situation definition, then development of proposed solutions with complete costs and financing alternatives. Current examples are road and drainage construction projects.
- Propose Council member term limits of 2 four-year terms.
- Encourage more involvement by residents.
