Sandy pledges; 1. To keep a watchful eye on the 1-5 and Lomas Santa Fe interchange. To insure the project stays on schedule and in budget for the relief of traffic congestion. 2. To create a community backed Fletcher Cove revitalization plan. sending the current plan back to planning and saving the taxpayer 2.9 million dollars on a parking structure that is not needed. 3. To replenish sand on our beaches. 4. To enhance the Linear Park along Hwy 101 with access to businesses along the 101 business corridor. 5. To make improvements to our ecosystem in in San Elijo Lagoon and the creation of more parks and open spaces. 6. To improve local and regional transportation systems. 7. To continue to move forward in the improvements of Stevens Avenue as a better artery for entering and exiting Solana Beach. 8. To follow through with the improvement plans for Eden Garden and surrounding community. 9. To insure that public safety in Solana Beach is kept to the highest standards with support of all our Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Fighter and Lifeguards. 10. To protect the QUALITY OF LIFE we appreciate and embrace every day in Solana Beach. |
