Candidate for City Council; City of La Mesa

This information is provided by the candidate
In a recent newspaper article La Mesa was described as "Pleasantville USA". I think that is because people here truly care about their city and about raising their families in a safe and secure environment. I know I do.

As a Member od La Mesa City Council I will make every effort to preserve and protect the character of our neighborhoods.

  • I will support our Police and Fire Department's efforts to stay at peak efficiency and readiness for any emergency,
  • I will support Youth Programs that help us to keep kids on the right track and out of trouble. This is a sound investment in the future.
  • I will fight to get back our fair share of funding from the state. Sacremento is sitting on a $12 billion dollar surplus that should come back to the cities to fund infrastructure improvments.
  • I will make sure that the Junior Seau Sports Complex is finished at Parkway Middle School and that the Challenge Center is completed at BriercrestPark. We should strive to provide the best recreational opportunities for children, adults, seniors and the physically challenged.

And I will make every effort to hear the concerns of La Mesa's citizens. All of La Mesa's citizens.
