Reason for running for City Council

I vacationed in Oceanside 3 times a year for 10 years prior to moving here. It was on those vacations that I fell in love with this Ocean community so much so that I decided to make Oceanside my home. I knew Oceanside was the place I wanted to spend the rest of my life, and as such, I am committed to the economic and proactive growth of this city and the way it will be managed going forward. For too long the seats of city government have been occupied by people who put their personal political agendas before the needs of the people. We need leaders who are more interested in community service than they are about political self service. I will be a leader who will listen to you and a community servant who will answer his own phone whether it be at my office at City Hall or at my home. The city council decisions over next 5 years will forever impact the future of Oceanside! I want those decisions to be made by fair and objective leadership untied to special interest groups! The only special interest I have are those I would be elected to represent. That special interest is YOU!

- Successful Presentations before Transportation, Police and Fire Commissions and City Council to have experimental Speed Humps installed in my community. Junior Acheivement, volunteer teaching 8 grade students the basics of practical economics.
