Political Philosophy for Dale A. Burke, D.D.S.

I am a political conservative. I believe in holding costs down and passing the benefits on to the consumers. Our sewer bills are outrageous. These bills come from the cities we live in, but it must be understood that 60% of residential water use is for irrigation. We shouldn't have to pay sewer bills on this usage. To combat electric bill increases, we should consider building a co-generation plant as we did at Grossmont College, or form a consortium with other water districts to buy electricity from a cheaper source. I believe the Helix Water District needs a voice for fluoridation on their Board of Directors. They have quietly agreed with the Grand Jury Report to implement fluoridation after their ozone treatment facility is up and working. I want to make sure fluoridation continues uninterrupted. As a former Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District Trustee, I know how to get things done, and I have the time to devote to the job. Let's break the system of board resignations and cloned replacements. One person can make a difference! Please cast your vote for Dale Burke for a meaningful change. |
