City Council; City of La Mesa

PUBLIC SAFETY: As a firefighter with the San Miguel Fire Protection District for 17 years, I understand the importance of investing in public safety - FIRE AND POLICE - to keep the City of La Mesa safe for everyone.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: I am fiscally responsible and will look for ways to use our limited funds wisely - keeping taxes low. I will work to restore our fair share of funds coming from Sacramento so our citizens can receive quality services from the City without increasing taxes or fees.

COMMUNITY SERVICES: I will seek ways to get agencies within the City - School Districts, the Water District, the City, and youth groups - to work together to provide services that benefit all citizens in the community.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: I will actively work to maintain a good climate for business in the City while keeping the small-town atmosphere we all enjoy.

QUALITY OF LIFE: I will listen to the citizens of La Mesa and represent your views on the City Council. The needs of our senior citizens must be met, and our children deserve to grow up in a community that is safe and cares about them. I will actively seek ways to improve our quality of life.
