With the overwhelming support of the law enforcement community I am committed to:

  • Promoting and protecting the public safety;
  • Taking a leadership role in the prevention of domestic violence;
  • More vigorous enforcement of Environmental Laws;
  • Preventing Juvenile Crime (I oppose Proposition 21);
  • Preventing Elder Abuse and Crimes against Senior Citizens;

My job as the District Attorney of this County is primarily to promote and protect the public safety. I have lived in this County for 35 years. I have raised 5 children here and understand intimately the concerns of families when it comes to public safety.

In an unprecedented show of support, the Police Chiefs of Scotts Vally, Santa Cruz, Watsonville and Capitola, as well as the County Sheriff have all endorsed me. Together we will make Santa Cruz County one of the safest communities in the state.
