A city wide program of conservation while developing long term strategies that keeps sustainability a priority.The City needs to take the lead on these types of projects in order to create a healthy environment for its residents.
1 Water conservation, criteria for gray water use, environmentally friendly water reclamation projects, develop regional partnerships with surrounding cities.

2 All new development must incorporate a program for the use of their gray waters on site, industrial development must also have the ability to clean up there own chemical waste in an environmentally friendly manner.

3 We need to utilize alternative energy sources, encouraging the use of solar energy and recycled materials for new construction projects.

4 The city needs to use alternative fuels for city owned vehicles.

5 We need public education on environmental issues, organic alternatives to chemical pesticides, herdicides, and fungicides. Establish Pesticide Free Zones around all schools and parks.
