Purchase New Firefighting Apparatus

By Michael C. "Mike" Mitchell

Candidate for Director; Central Fire Protection District

This information is provided by the candidate
Replace outdated Aerial firefighting apparatus
The current aerial apparatus was purchased in 1973 and does not meet todays needs. This apparatus is currently hard to buy parts for, can not reach the roofs of some buildings, and is difficult to manuver on some streets. By replacing this piece of apparatus, we will be able to reach 102 feet instead of 75 feet, carry up to six firefighters instead of four, and be easy to manuver into tight streets. This purchase is a must, in order to provide the best fire and rescue service to the community now and in the future.
