Having served the past 2 years as an appointed Trustee, I feel qualified and obligated to continue to work toward the goals of the current board and administration. I served on School Site Councils and on numerous committees throughout my children's elementary years. While my two children successfully transitioned from Soquel Union Elementary District to a neighboring High School distict, I was the leader in the move to unify that High School into this district. Over the course of the unification drive, I personally spoke with over 4,000 local voters and I feel that my understanding of the interests of the constituents in this district runs deep. Most importantly, I care about kids. |
