I feel the merger being proposed today is not in the best intrest of the citizens. The threat of closing the downtown Soquel Fire Station and the differnce in the two departments budgets make a merger with the Aptos/ La Selva Fire a bad deal for the residents of Live Oak, Capitola and Soquel. I urge you to support canididates who do not support merger.
