Scott Bugental has lived in the Santa Cruz area for 15 years. He has served the community in a wide variety of roles, including:

Scott Bugental is currently employed as the Associate Director of the Seniors Council, a local non-profit agency that funds services for the elderly. His prior work experience includes serving as the Director of Transportation for Food & Nutrition Services (1998 - 2000), as a database designer at UCSC (1995-98) and as Office Manager of Mobility Services (1990-94). He completed a two-year program in Earth Sciences at Santa Barbara City College in 1985, received his BA in Politics (with Honors) from UCSC in 1995, and has completed graduate work in Public Administration at San Jose State.
