Top three priorities:

I will share my years of business experience and community consensus building with Scotts Valley. As a co-founder of a local high-tech company, I understand the challenges of managing people, budgets, and complex projects. I will strive to improve your voice by focusing on issues communicated as most important:

·Provide creative ways of developing a thriving downtown and paying for on-going public services

·Focus on water conservation and resource management

·Encourage community consensus building

Real economic freedom is found in developing a sustainable revenue stream by encouraging re-development and infill of the commercial corridor. Attracting new businesses to our City through grants, marketing, and partnerships with neighboring communities will help generate revenue and provide needed resources to pay for on-going public services.

We continue to receive conflicting messages regarding water supply and quality. Until we can come to a consensus on the water issues facing our community, and those that surround us, we must carefully guard and manage our resources.

I will support the 3 E's:

Encourage - the community to participate

Educate - the community on the process so they feel comfortable

Empower - the community to speak on difficult issues facing the City and listen to what they say
