Political Philosophy for Russell W. "Russ" Wood
Candidate for |

|
1. Mountain View is a diverse community. All points of view must be considered and reviewed, not just those of the most vocal. 2. High standards are important, but just as important is how an elementary school community (administration, teachers, parents and students) can work together to assure the success of all students. Teaching techniques and curriculum, the "how" of education, are at least as important as the standards. 3. Support for teachers is vital. These highly trained professionals are a major component in the future success of our children. The importance of training in the latest teaching techniques, curriculum, and research cannot be understated. |
