You are invited to help set priorities for the District.

By Chuck Reed

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of San Jose; District 4

This information is provided by the candidate
In January, I will hold a District 4 Conference on Priorities to discuss the suggestions for the Neighborhood Improvement Plan.
As part of my campaign for City Council District 4, I am preparing a Neighborhood Improvement Plan that will include things that we need to do in District 4 to make it a better place to live, work and raise a family. The first thing to do is to make a list. If you have some things to add to the list, please call me or send it to me. I have talked to thousands of people over the last year about what needs to be done in the district. Some of the things your neighbors have suggested are listed at http://www.chuckreed.com.

In January, I will hold a District 4 Conference on Priorities to discuss the suggestions for the Neighborhood Improvement Plan. That way the community can help me set priorities for implementing the plan. Every group and association in District 4 will be invited. If you belong to a neighborhood association, a homeowners' association, or some other organization please send me an address so your group can be there. This conference also will be a step in building a network of people and groups who care about our community. If you would like to be invited to participate, please let me hear from you.

After the conference, I will set up a District Advisory Group to help me evaluate issues and make decisions about priorities as new opportunities or problems arise.

I will keep the people of the District informed about progress with the Neighborhood Improvement Plan with a newsletter by email, fax and regular mail. I will set up a District 4 web page so that you can see the status of every item on the Neighborhood Improvement Plan at your convenience.
