Our Kids Deserve the Best!

Today, despite having fewer dollars, we must remain determined to provide the best education for our children. As a former budget manager, I understand financial issues and will demand strict accountability for every dollar spent.

Providing quality education is a community effort and a shared responsibility. I strongly support the START after-school education program. Instead of asking parents to pay, I will work to strengthen the fundraising ability of the Robla Education Foundation and ask local businesses to adopt a school, sponsor the program and underwrite the cost.

It's a shame our teachers worked nearly two years without a contract. Our children's education directly suffered. I'll work to improve communication, and restore trust and mutual respect among Board members, administrators and staff.

I'll continue the fight to expand Robla into a Kindergarten through 8th grade district, keeping our children in our neighborhoods and maintaining Robla's high educational standards.

With your vote, I can be a stronger advocate on behalf of Robla children.
