Personal: Raised in Tustin, California. Attended California Public Schools. Grew to love Fullerton while attending C.S.U.F. Moved to Fullerton permanently in the summer of 1995. Married my wife Jennifer in August 1996. Four children, ages 2,4,8, and 10. My oldest two children attend Beechwood Elementary School in Fullerton. Fullerton School District Experience: Elected to Charter Council of the Beechwood Elementary School Site Council. Elected as the first President of the new Beechwood Elementary School Site Council. Founded the Maple Elementary School K-6 Committee. An advocacy group started with the goal of opening Maple Elementary School to all grades K-6. First President of the Maple Elementary School, K-6 Committee. Appointed member of the Fullerton School District, Maple Expansion Committee. An advisory committee chartered to determine the feasibility of opening Maple Elementary School to all grades K thru 6. Attended virtually every School Site Council meeting for Acacia Elementary School during the 1998 and 1999 school years. Co-Chaired the Georgia Menges Technology Center Development Committee for Acacia Elementary School. Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance from California State University, Fullerton, 1988. Elected and appointed to several positions in the Associated Students, Student Government. Founded several organizations that continue to exist to this day, including the Sports Club Council. Elected Vice Chairman of the Board for the Associated Students. Professional: Construction Industry Sales Executive until 1994. Owned and managed two construction related businesses until March of 1999. Sold share of business to publicly traded company in March 1999. Currently Regional Sales Manager for the Irvine Division of the public company, which acquired my business. |
