A 17 year resident of Laguna Beach, Elizabeth has served for 5 1/2 years on the Laguna Beach Planning Commission. In addition, she has served on the Board of the North Laguna Community Association for 14 years -- and as the organization's President for 3 years.

Elizabeth served as the co-chair with current Mayor Kathleen Blackburn on the Citizens Committee for A & B supporting a resort at Treasure Island. She participated for 2 1/2 years reviewing the Treasure Island resort, through 37 meetings.

The candidate is on the Advisory Board of the Laguna Art Museum and supports keeping the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach.

Elizabeth is on the Board of the Capital Campaign raising funds for a new senior center in Laguna Beach.

Having served on the 21-member Village Entrance Task Force, Elizabeth is in favor of building a parking garage at at the Village Entrance.

Prior to moving to Laguna Beach, Elizabeth worked for the Mayor of Cleveland in economic development and marketing.
