Political Philosophy for Ken Morrison
Candidate for |

|
California's rich tradition of nonpartisanship in local municipal elections is one to be proud of and its importance cannot be overstated. Local elected officials can affect our quality of life in many ways. That's why it's important to elect good City Councilmembers, School Board Members, and other local officials regardless of whether they're Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. We must insist on electing candidates who are responsive to the voters they represent rather than rich and powerful, narrow special interests that seek to circumvent the democratic process. The finest candidates will have a broad base of experience and display a credible commitment to principles of honesty, integrity, and accountability. We should accept no less. More on my political philosophy and specific plans for Tustin can be found on my Website: http://www.kenmorrison.org. |
