DIANE'S TEN-POINT ACTION PHILOSOPHY!

  • Protect and Improve Our Quality of Life

  • Maintain & Support Police, Fire, and Health Safety

  • Fiscal Responsibility - Top-Down Audit, Proper Allocation

  • Sensible, Controlled Growth

  • Provide Necessary Services & Facilities for All Age Groups

  • Responsible Environment Pollution Control & Interaction, Clean Up Ocean, Open Spaces, Drains, Urban Run-Off

  • Improve Quality of Drinking Water

  • Improve Business Economy for Increased Revenues

  • Budget Inclusion of Infrastructure Improvements

  • Manage The City Like the Business It Is!

LOCAL CONTROL: I favor Reduced Government Controls and Interventions, allowing the people at the local level to manage their own city. We need to do a Top-Down Audit of the State Budget in order to reallocate more funds "back" to the cities in order to allow cities to properly manage their own needs at the local level.

MANAGE LIKE A BUSINESS: We may want to consider privatization of "some" services, if it would better benefit us all and provide more economical, efficient services.

FISCAL CONSERVATIVE: Tax Increases and Bonds are Not necessary, if proper allocations of the taxes we already pay are properly allocated at the State Level and Managed Like A Business at the Local Level.

CONSENSUS-BUILDING MANAGEMENT STYLE: Consensus Building is an Important Contribution I Will Make to gain Community Agreement as to the order of priorities on Issues that Need to be addressed. We have numerous issues that are Imperative We Address Now, in order to Preserve Our Quality of Life and Health. We have a restricted budget. We need to have a "buy-in" to an agreeable order of completing and paying for the list of Necessities we all share.

I appreciate you Support in Achieving Our Goals Together!

Thank You! Your Next Council Person,

Diane Lenning
