Maintaining a safe and desirable community to live, work, and raise families will be my highest priority, if re-elected.

I will continue to work to eliminate burdening tax increases, I will promote making City government as efficient and streamlined as possible. I will also encourage new business development and retention of existing businesses to keep the City's tax base sound enough to have:

  • strong public safety services

  • proper maintenance of infrastructure which promotes higher property values and pride in community

  • libraries which have adequate resources for books and open hours

Also, the direction our City will proceed must be determined with respect to providing low income affordable housing as required by redevelopment law. I believe promoting First Time Homebuyer Programs and providing rehabilitation loans makes more sense than building high density subsidized rentals.

I will also continue working with local schools, colleges and universities to keep Fullerton "The Education Community."

My first three actions I would propose if re-elected:

  • promote the upgrade, modernization, and occupancy of the Orangefair Mall (major entrance to Fullerton) with viable and desirable tenants

  • continue to rebuild, renovate, and replace aging police and fire department facilities and equipment

  • improvement of traffic flow and increase access to, and parking for, our Downtown and Transportation Center

Fullerton is the heartful City with wonderful residential neighborhoods, a great and growing downtown, and many amenities envied by other communities. I will work hard to keep Fullerton the special community we all love.

I would be honored to have your support in my re-election effort.
