Vote For Sharon Hankins - November 7, 2000

By Sharon C. Hankins

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Lake Forest

This information is provided by the candidate
As a community leader, I have the experience of serving the residents by fostering commitment, cooperation and trust
As your elected council member, I pledge to fight for the non-aviation use of El Toro and non-expansion of the Musick jail site, to help solve traffic issues, to ensure the balance between business' and residents' interests and to represent the newly annexed communities of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills as well as the interests of Lake Forest/El Toro residents.

I have provided leadership in the communities since 1988. I served as a board member on the Serrano Park Homeowners' Association in Lake Forest (1987-1989) and have served as Vice President and President of the Foothill Ranch Civic Council (1996-present). I successfully worked with County officials to uphold their promise to build a Foothill Ranch public library. As the Foothill Ranch library committee chairperson, I was instrumental in the addition of a community room to the libary. I served as liaison to the Lake Forest City Council (1997- 2000) and community representative to elected city, county and state officials.

I will follow through to address your concerns by working together, keeping open lines of communication, encouraging residents to participate in local governance and maintaining the quality of life in our city.

I ask for your support - your vote - to send me to city hall to work FOR YOU as a City Council Member.
