I have been working in the water field since graduation from U.S.C. with a Civil Engineering degree, dealing with Health Department and environmental regulations, water quality, supply and reliability issues. During my career with Orange as Assistant Water Superinendent, Water Superintendent and Director of Public Works, I was responsible for the design, construction and operation of the city's water system.

During my tenure on the Board of Directors of O.C.W.D., we have developed a world renown sea water barrier system using state of the art technology to purify and inject waste water. We have developed a sophisticated groundwater management system to benefit the retial water districts and cities we serve. We have accomplished this by continually working with our constituents developming new, innovative cost effective methods and procedures to improve, expand and protect our groundwater supply. We also work cooperatively with the suppliers of imported water and the upstream agencies along the Santa Ana River.
