I was Born on December 31,1944 to Dorothy Jacobson Kotz and Golden Eldridge Fitzgerald. Due to the religious differences of my mother and father, the families managed to split them apart shortly after I was born. Shortly after that, my mother abandoned me to the care of foster parents and for the first 16 years of my life I lived in forster homes and a Methodist Orphanage in Waco, Texas.

Having never known my father or where he lived, I made contact and reunited with my mother to finish High School in Southern California.

I entered the United States Navy in 1965 shortly after High School and did not re-enlist after my tour was up in 1969.

After the military I took a position with a medical supply firm located in California. When a decision to sell the company was made I decided to return to school. I returned to Texas and entered the University of Houston School of Business. After 2 1/2 years I had to return to the work place and took an offer to work in the food industry at a Resort on the East Coast. The work eventually caused me to migrate to Omaha, Nebraska where I would later to be given the opportunity to work in Warehousing. I found the work to be so rewarding that I decided to learn all I could about this industry.

In 1992 I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to take a position as Operations Manager of a sales and manufacturing chemical company called J. B. Chemical. After two years with the company I made a decision to leave and join a friend in a resturant venture. I later retired after an injury to my spine and returned to California to live.

One of my passions is inventing. In the early 80's I designed a self-taping Butterfly Bolt. In 1989 I designed a Syringe that would prevent accidental needle pricks to persons administering injections to patients with contagious diseases. Two years ago I designed a adjustable chair that could be used by individuals who had to work in a standing position.
