Commercial Airport at El Toro? Never! Never! Never!By Jane EglyCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Laguna Beach | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Let's not mince words on this issue. The proposed airport at El Toro is a brutally lame idea put forth by greedy developers. It's time that Orange County Supervisors responded to us: NO AIRPORT - NO WAY! NO HOW!I don't think I need to recount all the reasons why the El Toro airport project is a thoroughly lame proposal. You - the voters - have responded soundly and repeatedly on this issue. You say, "End it!" End the funding, end the project, end the threat of a commercial airport at El Toro! Toward that end, I will fight as long and as hard as is necessary for you. Thus, as your elected Council Member, I will work energetically and skillfully to eliminate altogether this project from the Orange County political radar screen. I shall work cooperatively with our neighboring cities to make sure the El Toro airport NEVER HAPPENS! You should have no doubt that my background and experience as a land use attorney will prove valuable insights to the City of Laguna Beach as we finally help end this Fool's Plan! We all know this isn't rocket science. Does Orange County need more airports? No. We need more protected open space and cleaner air. It's that simple. For more information about this and other important issues facing Laguna Beach residents, please visit my campaign Website at http://www.Jane4Laguna.com. Remember, on Election Day, November 7th, you have two votes for City Council. Be sure to make one of them for the lady in the hat - that's me - Jane Egly. Many thanks! |
