This is my Official Statement
My achievements as Mayor include a financially strong, safe city which meets the needs of the people and rebuilds for the future without tax increases. My accomplishments are:

One of the safest cities in the nation. Cleanuup of crime impacted neighborhoods by police, fire, code enforcement, and anti-graffiti teamwork.

Chapman University's new law and business schools and a California award for historic building codes for Old Towne.

Major investment in citywide improvements: Main Library and branches, Senior Center, streets, storm drains, sewers. Development of affordable well managed Senior housing.

New McPherson Sports Park and future development of new parks and recreational trails for all ages and interests.

New corporate, retail and entertainment centers. Support for our business and industrial community, the backbone of the budget dollars we receive.

My early endorsements include Assemblyman William Campbell, Orange County Supervisors Cynthia Coad and Todd Spitzer, Orange Coutny Clerk/ Recorder Gary Granville, former Mayor James Beam, Planning Commissioners Randy Bosch and Tita Smith, and our city's Fire and Police associations.

There are many issuses to address in the next four years including land development, parks, education, and continued good service to our residents and businesses. I am ready for the job!
