IF IT'S NOT BROKEN...DON'T FIX IT

I believe Strawberry is well served as a Special Park and Recreation District with its own elected Directors,budgets and reserves.

While I value the greater sense of identity and independence that might be gained if Strawberry were a separate city, I do not believe it is financially feasible at this time. Also it should be understood that the School District (Mill Valley) the Fire District (So. Marin)and the Recreation District (Strawberry) would remain the same and most residents would select Marin County Sherrif's department for police coverage.
