Candidate for
Member, Board of Directors; Three Valleys Municipal Water District; Division 4

Kory Mathewson is running for the Three Valley's Municipal Water District, Division 4 seat to bring accountability to the ratepayers of Glendora and San Dimas. He will be calling for priority testing of chromium-6 in the San Gabriel Basin and more stringent standards for its presence. As the Metropolitan Water District adopts its new rate structure and resource plan, Mr. Mathewson will also work to further ensure stable local water rates into the forseeable future through sound fiscal policy and proper long range planning. He is also attentive to the growing need for high quality water assurance to the San Gabriel Valley and will work with state legislators and local agencies in the effort to clean up groundwater contamination in the basin.
