Money from the sale of the bonds will be used to: repair and upgrade classrooms, make the District eligible for matching funds, replace flooring and windows, update electrical service and lighting, modernize the kitchen, upgrade the septic system, develop a permanent stage area in the music room, and build and/or remodel facilities including bathrooms for the kindergarten classrooms. This measure will not become effective unless the measure is approved by two-thirds of the voters within the District. "Approval of Measure Q does not guarantee that the proposed project or projects in the Fieldbrook School District that are the subject of bonds under Measure Q will be funded beyond the local revenues generated by Measure Q. The school district's proposal for the project or projects may assume the receipt of matching state funds which could be subject to appropriation by the Legislature of approval of a statewide bond measure."
