- Advocate for the School of the Arts, worked with District and Roosevelt High administration to air condition the high schools auditorium.
- Active member of Presbyterian Church, servered on church governing board and representative to San Joaquin Presbytery
- Most of my career has been in pharmacy management. Worked on cost containment and medical staff committees.
- Active in local theatre, served on the board of Center Stage Productions.

- School sites must be maintained and repaired
- Fresno Unified must establish as a priority that all students will become successful learners
- Reestablish the arts program in the middle schools

When a school site is not maintained, it is an unsafe and poor environment for effective learning. As a trustee I will work with facilities to help improve all school sites through out the district.
