Political Philosophy for Dale M. Walwark
Candidate for |
Our public policies in Moraga should serve the long-term interest of Moraga's homeowners. This is -- and will remain -- a small residential community. The Town of Moraga was created because of concerns that suburban sprawl and increasing traffic congestion threatened our quality of life. Those threats still exist. Moraga also was formed as a limited-service, low-budget municipality, and we should keep it that way by concentrating on priorities. Many of those familiar with my commitment to Moraga and my record of service believe that I am an obvious candidate for the Town Council. In recent years I've probably attended more Council meetings than anyone but the Town staff and the Councilmembers themselves. |
