Candidate for
Governing Board Member; John Swett Unified School District

Born in Berkeley 1953; raised and lived in El Cerrito all my life until marrying Cliff Stockholm in 1974. We have three sons, Mark (23), Kyle (17) and Alex (13), all products of the John Swett Unified School system.

I graduated from El Cerrito High School in 1971 with honors. I graduated with an AA degree in Administration of Justice from Contra Costa College in San Pablo in 1974.

From October 1975 to present, I've worked with RINA Accountancy Corporation - currently Office Manager presiding over five offices in Oakland, Walnut Creek, Fremont, San Francisco and Roseville.

I've lived within the Bay Area (El Cerrito, Richmond and San Pablo) prior to moving to Rodeo. We've lived in Rodeo for the last 12 years. My family and I have been very committed and involved in all the schools in the John Swett school district. We helped to raise funds to replace playground equipment at Hillcrest elementary and to contribute to teacher activity funds to help them supplement for special projects and supplies. I've coordinated and participated in Make-a-Difference days at both the Elementary and High School to help beautify the schools both inside and out.

I was appointed to a four year term for Governing Board in 1996.
