Member, City Council; City of Concord

Concord desperately needs citywide rent control. I'd like to see a halt to all rent increases within Concord, and the whole Bay Area, for that matter. Families are asking friends to move in, students have to dig up 3 or 4 strangers to help pay for shelter, and most apartments in Concord are beginning to look like sardine cans. The poorest neighborhoods are sporting $1000 studios. This isn't population control, it's population alteration.
